With time as a key ingredient in both craft and consumption, mezcal likes to take things slow. In a rush to relax, we took three varietals down to the South American Andes, ready to digest sights, sounds, and spirits of all sorts. As prescribed, we put our feet up each afternoon and watched the sweltering sun dip below the cloud forest canopy, excited to wind down the day and see what the night had in store. We decided the drinks were best enjoyed outdoors, and photographed them all over Antioquia in celebration of an equal partnership between The Lost Explorer and Nature itself.
